BALTDEFCOL Coordination Group Meeting successfully completed

On 8 October 2026, the Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) held the BALTDEFCOL Coordination Group (BCG) autumn meeting, focusing on discussions surrounding the College's lines of effort.

In addition to BALTDEFCOL management and the Senior National Representatives, the meeting brought together delegations from the Ministry of Defence of Latvia, the Latvian National Armed Forces, the Estonian Defence Forces, the Estonian Ministry of Defence, the Estonian Defence Resources Agency, and the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence.

The discussions were structured around BALTDEFCOL's five lines of effort: education, research, support, management and digital transformation.

The BCG meeting included reviews of the College's Annual Activity Plan, educational and research developments, the budget, and contributions from NATO nations to BALTDEFCOL's educational programmes.

As a working-level governance body, the BCG reports to the Baltic Ministerial Committee and the Baltic Military Committee on all matters related to the management and development of BALTDEFCOL. Its primary role is to review, evaluate, and support BALTDEFCOL activities, resource utilisation, and student administration.
