On 5 December 2025, the Baltic Defence College (BALTDEFCOL) had the honour of welcoming RADM Jean-Emmanuel Roux de Luze, Deputy Chief of Staff Operations, Allied Joint Force Command Naples (JFCNP), and his delegation. The visit was marked by a series of significant events that underscored the strong ties between BALTDEFCOL and NATO.

Upon his arrival, RADM Roux de Luze was warmly received by the BALTDEFCOL Commandant, Brigadier General Alvydas Šiuparis, accompanied by the Chief of Staff, the Director of the Department of Military Studies, and the Deputy Director of the Department of Political and Strategic Studies / French Senior National Representative.

The Admiral had an office call with the Commandant to discuss various topics of mutual interest, including the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence into Professional Military Education.

This meeting provided an opportunity for both leaders to exchange insights and strengthen the collaborative framework between their respective institutions.
